Summary

PostToolUse silence is not a general 2.1.x regression (Linux 2.1.258 completes). Next probe is Windows claude --debug. No timeout change.

  • As of: 2026-09-28.
  • Recheck: after a Windows --debug capture, or a Linux regression against 2.1.258+.

Linux 2.1.258 completes PostToolUse; remaining diagnosis is the reporting
Windows host. Do not raise in-repo timeouts while no hook completes there.
