Summary

Risk

  • New upstream content includes the trusted-proxy WS hardening (commit dc2c3a4920 "harden WS pairing locality") and other auth/protocol changes
  • Fork-side adaptation already validated locally with pnpm check (exit 0) and a new unit-test suite for the trusted-proxy role propagation

Test plan

  • ArgoCD applies admins-openclaw cleanly (Synced, Healthy)
  • Pod rolls without ImagePullBackOff (image is in GHCR: amd64 sha256:5d5cac92..., arm64 sha256:25f93fd0...)
  • s3-sync canary continues mirroring sessions/skills/auth-profiles
  • Chat through admins-openclaw responds (codex backend continues to work)
  • No out of extra usage / missing .claude.json regressions

Pulls in upstream openclaw/openclaw:main 2026-04-23 sync (mctl-openclaw
PR #8) plus fork-side typecheck/lint/test fixups (mctl-openclaw PR #9).
admins is the canary tenant; labs and ovk follow if this rolls clean.

P2 Badge Update OPENCLAW_VERSION when bumping container image

This bump changes the deployed image to 2026.4.28-beta.1, but the OPENCLAW_VERSION env var in the same values file is still 2026.4.26-beta.1. In canary validation and incident debugging, this creates a version skew where runtime-reported version metadata no longer matches the actual binary, which can mislead health checks, dashboards, and rollback decisions tied to reported version strings.

Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.

Codex P2 on #53: image tag was bumped to 2026.4.28-beta.1 but the
runtime-reported OPENCLAW_VERSION env stayed at 2026.4.26-beta.1.
Keeping them in sync prevents misleading dashboard/health-check
output during canary validation and rollback decisions.

Addressed codex P2 in 72d58c1 — OPENCLAW_VERSION env var now matches the image tag (2026.4.28-beta.1).
