fix(ollama): report prompt_eval_cached_count as cache-read input - #8124
The ollama-native adapter mapped prompt_eval_count and eval_count but dropped prompt_eval_cached_count, so Ollama (including Ollama Cloud) sessions always recorded 0 cached input tokens even when upstream reported a cache hit.
Ollama defines prompt_eval_cached_count as the number of prompt tokens read from the cache. api/types.go declares it as an optional field next to prompt_eval_count, and the Ollama CLI computes the uncached share as prompt_eval_count - cached. So it is a subset of the prompt total, which is exactly OCX's cachedInputTokens / cacheReadInputTokens convention. usageFromNative now maps it there, for both streamed and buffered responses, and leaves inputTokens as the full prompt count. An omitted field still reports no cache information, an explicit 0 stays a known 0, and a negative, fractional, non-numeric or larger-than-prompt value is ignored.
Before: { inputTokens: 2000, outputTokens: 100 } for a final record with prompt_eval_cached_count: 1500.
After: { inputTokens: 2000, outputTokens: 100, cachedInputTokens: 1500, cacheReadInputTokens: 1500 }.
bun test tests/providers/ollama/ollama-native-cached-usage.test.ts: 9 pass, 0 fail. With the src/ change stashed: 6 pass, 3 fail (the streamed, buffered and explicit-zero cases).
bun test tests/providers/ollama/ tests/adapters/adapter-tool-conformance.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/file-size-ratchet.test.ts tests/test-layout.test.ts tests/test-layout-tooling.test.ts: 254 pass, 0 fail.
bun run typecheck, bun run privacy:scan: pass.
NOT RUN: bun run test:changed and the full bun run test, because the host is shared with several full-suite lanes. Left to CI. Note that test 2/4 is currently red on dev itself: tests/server/server-combo-required-tool-contract.test.ts fails from fix(responses): scope tool authority to current turn #8027 onward, unrelated to this change.

Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Ollama usage reporting now identifies cached prompt tokens when the reported count is valid, while preserving total input token counts. Invalid, missing, or inconsistent cached counts are not reported as cache usage.
Tests
Added coverage for cached usage in streamed and buffered responses, including zero counts and missing or invalid token counts.
The Ollama native adapter now maps valid cached prompt-token counts to cache-read usage fields. Regression tests cover streamed and buffered responses, and the test layout includes the new test.
usageFromNative sets cachedInputTokens and cacheReadInputTokens when prompt_eval_cached_count is a nonnegative safe integer no greater than prompt_eval_count. It preserves total input-token accounting and omits both cache fields for invalid or unavailable cached counts.
Tests cover streamed and buffered responses, zero, invalid or missing cached counts, and a missing prompt count. The layout assigns the new test to providers/ollama. The expected-layout fixture mapping is unchanged.
The cached-token mapping preserves total input accounting and distinguishes omitted values from explicit zero. The remaining suggestion is a low-priority test addition and does not block merging after normal checks.

Explanation
Issue #8101 requires parsing prompt_eval_cached_count, mapping it to OCX cache-read usage, and preserving total prompt usage. src/adapters/ollama-native.ts:641-656 validates the cached value, requires prompt_eval_count, enforces cached <= input, and sets both cachedInputTokens and cacheReadInputTokens without changing inputTokens. The conditional spread preserves omitted values as unavailable and preserves an explicit zero. tests/providers/ollama/ollama-native-cached-usage.test.ts:22-52 covers streamed and buffered responses, explicit zero, omitted and invalid values, out-of-range values, and a missing prompt total.

Explanation
The changed source in src/adapters/ollama-native.ts:641-656 implements issue #8101. The new regression tests in tests/providers/ollama/ollama-native-cached-usage.test.ts verify that behavior. The two test-layout changes in scripts/test-layout/layout.json:1333 and tests/fixtures/test-layout-expected.json:1095 register the new test in the existing Ollama provider test group. No unrelated product behavior or cleanup is present.

Add an unsafe-integer prompt-count case to the cached-usage tests.

Add an unsafe-integer prompt-count case to the cached-usage tests.
The new tests never pass an integer above Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER. Replacing Number.isSafeInteger in isFiniteNonNegativeInteger with Number.isInteger would still pass every test. Add this case to the describe block:
Suggested test
test("a cached count without a prompt count is ignored", async () => {
expect(await streamedUsage({ prompt_eval_cached_count: 5, eval_count: 2 })).toEqual({ inputTokens: 0, outputTokens: 2 });
});
++ test("an unsafe-integer prompt count is ignored with its cache field", async () => {+ expect(await streamedUsage({ prompt_eval_count: Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER + 1, prompt_eval_cached_count: 8, eval_count: 2 }))+ .toEqual({ inputTokens: 0, outputTokens: 2 });+ });
});
A cached-count-only change does not need a separate case. The cached check already requires value.prompt_eval_cached_count <= input, so an unsafe cached count can pass only when the prompt count is also unsafe.

Add a test in the cached-usage test suite using streamedUsage with a prompt
count above Number.MAX_SAFE_INTEGER and a cached count; assert that the result
has zero input tokens and no cache field. This verifies unsafe prompt counts are
rejected.
