fix(kiro): GPT-5.6 context windows follow Kiro's 1M listing - #6008
Conversation
Kiro's model page now lists GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra and Luna with a 1M context window; 272K is only the pricing threshold above which requests bill at double. The static table still said 272K, so without account catalogue evidence Kiro GPT-5.6 under-reported its window. The head-to-head result is updated: the context and timeout rows are now at parity with kiro-lb.

Correct the remaining-leads count.
The “Where kiro-lb still leads” table contains seven distinct rows. C3 and E6 are excluded because both moved to parity. Update the summary count to seven.

Approved on exact head 17928209. The official Kiro model listing supports the 1M Sol/Terra/Luna window, alias normalization remains unchanged, GPT-6 rows stay at 272K, and output/thinking budgets remain independent. The percentage-derived calibration scale change is documented. Merge remains conditional on all exact-head CI jobs completing successfully.

Summary
Kiro GPT-5.6 under-reported its context window. Kiro's model page (https://kiro.dev/docs/models/, updated 2026-09-25) lists GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra and Luna with a 1M context window; 272K is only the pricing threshold above which requests bill at double. The static table still recorded 272K from an older snapshot of that page, so without per-account catalogue evidence (#5996) every Kiro GPT-5.6 route advertised a 272K window.
After this change the three GPT-5.6 tiers report 1M, with a comment stating the 272K pricing threshold. Observed per-account limits from the catalogue still take precedence.
gpt-6-sol/gpt-6-lunaare not on Kiro's page and are unchanged. Two effects to be aware of: a client planning against the larger window may send requests above 272K tokens, which Kiro bills at double (the per-provider context cap is a planning aid, not a billing guarantee); and Kiro's reported context tokens (window × Kiro's usage percentage) scale with the window, which is correct if Kiro reports its percentage against the documented 1M — not verified against a live account.
Also updates
081_head_to_head_result.md: the static context row and the timeout row move to parity (the timeout comparison was re-checked: Kiro already has a header deadline plus the shared body-inactivity 504), leaving six axes where kiro-lb leads; the plan and evidence are in090_context_and_timeout_corrections.md.Verification
