Checkpoint recovery currently replays remembered conflict resolutions, losing additional committed repairs made after the rebase. This leaves repaired worktrees blocking publication.
Add explicit recovery selection bound to the exact repaired head, upstream nightly, and represented main commit. The service validates the retained tree and atomically publishes its immutable tag and promotes main with a source-bound lease. Selected recovery handles one nightly, preserves repairs on failure, and supports interrupted cleanup. A shared operation lock protects selection and checkpoint runs.
Validation: 60 focused tests pass, including real bare-Git tests for atomic publication and rejection of an advanced main without creating the tag. Scripts typecheck and Quick CI pass for 40e27e4. No application installation or restart.
Implemented with GPT-5 through the Codex harness.
