[AI-4368] Keep the import's total and progress bar after setup closes - #1905
Setup's Ready step shows a running history import as "46 of 94 sessions checked" with a progress bar. After Open kcap, the main window's status line dropped both and read "Importing history · 46 sessions processed". It now reads "46 of 94" and shows the same bar while the import runs. The count and the percentage move onto HistoryImportRun, so both surfaces read one source
Where to look
The finished line keeps the bare count: too-short and excluded sessions never settle, so "90 of 94" on a finished run would read as a failure
Verification
HistoryImportRunTests 5 passed (the count and bar with an honest total, no total, an overrun, and pass-based progress), DoneStepViewModelTests 23 passed. The two main-window tests activate the window before the run moves and fail when it stops announcing the bar, or stops following completed passes
The count and the bar now live on the import run, so setup's Ready step and
the main window cannot report the same run against different totals
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
History import runs now expose processed-count and progress values. The onboarding and main-window views use these values to display import activity, including progress based on completed passes when no expected session count is available.

Summary
Count and progress calculation src/Capacitor.App/ViewModels/Onboarding/HistoryImportRun.cs, test/Capacitor.App.Tests.Unit/HistoryImportRunTests.cs
HistoryImportRun formats processed counts using the current culture. It calculates progress from the expected session count when available, or from completed passes otherwise. Tests cover both calculations and count display.
Onboarding and main-window display src/Capacitor.App/ViewModels/Onboarding/DoneStepViewModel.cs, src/Capacitor.App/ViewModels/MainWindowViewModel.cs, src/Capacitor.App/Views/MainWindow.axaml, test/Capacitor.App.Tests.Unit/MainWindowViewModelTests.cs
The onboarding step uses the run’s progress and processed count. The main window reports the count and displays a progress bar while an import runs. Tests cover progress after setup closes and progress based on completed passes.
kurrent-io/kcap-cli#1886: This PR continues changes to history-import counts in HistoryImportRun and MainWindowViewModel.
kurrent-io/kcap-cli#1884: This PR also changes the history-import progress presentation in the onboarding Done step.

A completed import can appear incomplete on the Ready step. The impact is limited to misleading status text; the change is mergeable with this correction or explicit acceptance.

Preserve history import totals and progress after setup closes
🐞 Bug fix🧪 Tests🕐 20-40 Minutes
AI Description
• Keep the running import’s total and progress bar visible in the main window after setup closes.
• Share count and progress calculations between setup and the main window, with fallbacks when
totals are unavailable.
• Test live session counts, pass-based progress, and main-window notifications.
Keeping count and progress calculations on the import run is the right fit: it outlives setup and already holds both surfaces’ source data. Duplicating those calculations in the view models would risk divergent totals.

Expose live import totals and progress
• Running and interrupted status lines use the import run’s formatted count. The view model exposes progress and notifies the view when sessions, passes, or run state change; finished status retains a bare count.

Centralize formatted counts and progress
• The run provides a culture-formatted count with a total only when the denominator remains valid. Progress uses settled sessions when a total exists or completed passes otherwise, and raises change notifications as those values move.

1. Two import tests use named parallel groups✗ Dismissed
Description
A_running_import_keeps_its_total_and_progress_after_setup and
Without_a_total_the_bar_follows_completed_passes use NotInParallel("AvaloniaSession") instead of
the required bare attribute. The named group argument violates the test annotation convention and
makes these tests depend on a shared scheduling group rather than the mandated ungrouped isolation
behavior.
ⓘ Recommendations generated based on similar findings in past PRs
Evidence
The changed test methods add NotInParallel attributes with the AvaloniaSession group argument on
both lines. PR Compliance ID 2741710 requires every applicable test to use exactly the bare
[NotInParallel] attribute with no constructor or group arguments.
The issue below was found during a code review. Follow the provided context and guidance below and implement a solution
## Issue description
The two newly added Avalonia tests use `NotInParallel("AvaloniaSession")`, but console- or shared-session-sensitive tests must use the bare `[NotInParallel]` attribute without a group argument.
## Fix Focus Areas
- test/Capacitor.App.Tests.Unit/MainWindowViewModelTests.cs[81-81]
- test/Capacitor.App.Tests.Unit/MainWindowViewModelTests.cs[105-105]
## Recommended Fix
Replace both `[NotInParallel("AvaloniaSession")]` annotations with bare `[NotInParallel]` annotations.

2. Commit body exceeds the five-line limit✗ Dismissed
Description
The first commit body contains more than five non-empty lines and repeats the import-count and
progress-bar implementation instead of focusing on its non-obvious constraint. This makes reviewers
scan a long change summary to find the important behavior about excluded and too-short sessions,
while the second commit's concise rationale shows that the detail could have been stated briefly.

ⓘ Recommendations generated based on similar findings in past PRs
Evidence
PR Compliance ID 2897971 limits commit bodies to five non-empty lines and prohibits plain
restatements of the diff. The supplied first commit body has substantially more than five non-empty
lines and describes the same total, progress bar, and finished-count behavior implemented in the
cited code.
The issue below was found during a code review. Follow the provided context and guidance below and implement a solution
## Issue description
The first commit message body exceeds five non-empty lines and largely restates the implementation, making the important constraint about incomplete session totals harder to identify.
## Fix Focus Areas
- src/Capacitor.App/ViewModels/Onboarding/HistoryImportRun.cs[81-91]
## Recommended Fix
Rewrite the first commit body to no more than five non-empty lines, retaining only the non-obvious consequence that too-short and excluded sessions do not settle and therefore should not make a finished run display an apparently incomplete total.
