Unable to run executable on Android

After extracting files in android, permission of executable file has changed.
Where as I checked in apk file, all executable have permission to execute.
I can change their permission using chmod but wanted to know if p4a does something about it, but even after chmod unable to run executable.

files under _python_bundle/site-packages/bin/ also does not have permission to execute.

I am using Kivy 1.11.1 python3.8 Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, NDK r19c, toolchain 4.9.

Is there something I am missing or it is supposed to be that way ?

You could have asked me to provide more information than just closing the issue without answering a damn about the question.
I suppose I haven't made some very abusing mistake by not following the template.

We all work pretty hard on the kivy ecosystem while having a full time job aside. It's a very time consuming task and we have to sometimes take shortcut and make compromise if we want to deliver. It's like applying the Pareto law also in bug tracker management 😅
At least half of the bug reports we receive are either support requests, duplicates or invalid as it provide too little info.
If reporters don't have time/energy to read/fill the template, imagine we may have even less time to follow up.
Indeed you haven't made any very abusing mistake, that's why the thread is not locked and you're not banned, the issue is just closed as invalid

Yes I understand you guys work very hard to maintain the ecosystem. Does that mean when a newbie asks a question,you just close the issue instead of telling them how to ask a question properly? 

About the question I have mentioned the path where the executable is stored (_python_bundle/site-packages/bin/ in apk). I have also mentioned that executable have execute permission if I untar apk but it does not have execute permission in andriod.

It just mean it takes more energy to do it over and over again when the template was just made exactly for that, guiding the "newbies" to create proper bug report.
So you're trying to execute youtube-dl binary from Android? Usually you should share the stacktrace of your runtime issue, please do so to give more context.
The different options I see are:

• make p4a deal with executable permission (if allowed by Android)
• explicitly call your script using the Python interpreter (so it doesn't require executable flag)
• call the youtube_dl.main module directly from your code

Yeah I understand, saying that "Follow the template" will take much more time than having this long discussion. No I am not trying to execute youtube-dl, I want to execute ffmpeg which is a binary, I was just checking with youtube-dl. My actual question was why p4a is unpacking executable files in Android without execute permission. But if you would ans how to execute a binary it would be better (**). I don't understand what stacktrace you want here because I'm not getting one. I have already shared the permission issues. The first solution you suggested to make a p4a deal with executable permission. Can you elaborate more on this? (**) for this question , I'm currently being able to build executables for ffmpeg by commenting '--disable-programs' in FFMpegRecipe. As of now I don't know where to put my executable to make it work, .so files are already presented in apk Thanks
