I like this direction.
I think using GitHub Actions would be better, probably with goreleaser.

You'll need to setup https://circleci.com/ account (free), add this project, generate personal token at https://github.com/settings/tokens with only permission "public_repo" and add it to CircleCI project's env vars as
GITHUB_TOKEN. This way tagged releases will be automatically published on github like this: https://github.com/powerman/dockerize/releases/tag/v0.6.2 (which makes it easier for users to download and install, because it's just single static binary).
