I'm not sure how useful this would be, because to be able to use such a generic interface, it would have to be very strict and unambiguous. It might also be an unrealistic level of compliance to expect from the different testframework builders. Not to mention, lots of work.
--testframework-list_content=DOT list all tests in a DOT DAG, like boost.test
--testframework-run_test= to run tests, semicolon separated list allowed
