Patreon has introduced the 'gifted subscription' more than a year ago. However itch/patreon integration does not support it. The person with such kind of subscription has no actual pledge, so when trying to connect their account they get an error "We had some trouble connecting your account You don't have a pledge for XXX". I've tested this personally some time ago and today I got a new member having the same issue, so the issue seems to still persist.
