The menu does not work on mobile

Clicking on menu items in the new popup menu on Android just doesn't do a thing, but on iOS, it works flawlessly.

Below are screenshots demonstrating the behavior of the app when hovering your finger over a menu item.

The first thing I checked was the z-index of the items by adding a red background to the body. I added an elevated elevation (haha), but that did not work.

Yesterday, I discovered, that this is because of the element's position: absolute, but I have no idea why that is and how to fix it.

This has been reported facebook/react-native#27232, it has been reported 2 years ago, which is ultra cringe. It should be fixed by facebook/react-native#29039, but bruh, who knows when it will be merged.
