@dzintars-co

Dear OpenKnowledge Team,

I want to express my enormous gratitude and appreciation for the incredible work you are doing!

For a long time, I've been searching for a knowledge management system built around open standards, plain Markdown files, a clear and consistent document structure, and seamless collaboration with AI agents.

OpenKnowledge and the Open Knowledge Format (OKF) are exactly what I've been looking for!

The combination of Markdown, OKF, local-first architecture, Git, MCP, and AI agents is truly exciting. Finally, there is a system where knowledge can remain open, structured, portable, and independent of any single application or proprietary database.

What I appreciate most is the philosophy behind your project: the knowledge belongs to the user, not to the software.

Being able to work directly with ordinary Markdown files while maintaining a consistent structure that both humans and AI agents can understand is an incredibly powerful idea.

I have spent a lot of time exploring different tools and approaches, trying to find a solution that brings all these principles together. Discovering OpenKnowledge genuinely feels like finding the missing piece of the puzzle.

I also really appreciate the thoughtful integration of OKF validation, agent skills, automated document indexing, and Git-based workflows. These are not just additional features — together, they form a foundation for a knowledge system that can grow and evolve over many years.

It's refreshing to see developers focusing on openness, interoperability, simplicity, and long-term sustainability rather than locking users into yet another closed ecosystem.

I understand how much thought, effort, experimentation, and dedication it takes to build something like this. Please know that your work is noticed, valued, and deeply appreciated.

Thank you for creating something that genuinely solves a problem I've been trying to solve for a very long time.

I sincerely hope OpenKnowledge continues to grow, attracts a strong community, and becomes one of the leading open standards and platforms for AI-native knowledge management.

As one small idea for the future, an official Obsidian integration plugin could make the OpenKnowledge ecosystem even more powerful.

But above all, I simply wanted to say:

A massive THANK YOU to everyone behind OpenKnowledge!

Please keep building, experimenting, and pushing this wonderful project forward.

You have created something truly valuable, and I am genuinely excited to follow its future.

With sincere appreciation and best wishes,
A very grateful OpenKnowledge user
