6386-6435: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | 💤 Low valueMake the integration test independent of the host environment.
The test expects the value of
fish_handle_reflowfrom the test process, or0if it is unset.PaneLaunchEnv::default()adds no override. The test therefore does not verify the default when the CI shell exports a value. The test still passes in that case, because the inherited value is expected. This is acceptable but it weakens coverage. Consider building the command withCommandBuilderandenv_remove, as the unit tests do, to assert0deterministically.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

* fix: tell fish that herdr reflows its prompt on resize refs herdrdev#3672 * fix: match fish_handle_reflow casing exactly on windows refs herdrdev#3672 * test: keep temp path out of fish env spawn test command refs herdrdev#3672
refs #3672
fish only turns off its own prompt repaint on resize for terminals it knows reflow text (VTE, Konsole, Alacritty, WezTerm). herdr reflows too, but fish identifies it as
libghosttyand keepsfish_handle_reflow=1. its repaint then fights the reflow, and every resize glues another fragment of the prompt onto one ever-growing line.panes now start with
fish_handle_reflow=0, the value fish picks itself for reflowing terminals. an inherited value or an explicit--env/ plugin launch value is kept. the check matches the exact lowercase name, so an inheritedFISH_HANDLE_REFLOWon windows doesn't suppress it (msys/cygwin fish is case-sensitive). no shell startup files are touched, and nothing else in the env changes.validation:
just checkpasses (incl. windows lint)echo $fish_handle_reflow→0. 3 rounds of 50 split-drag resizes leave a single clean prompt. the same drag withfish_handle_reflow=1leaves 141 glued fragments.not covered: typing while the prompt is wrapped can still leave a stale fragment. a terminal-side fix was tried and rejected because it breaks zsh's own line wrapping.
