A scratchpad would be awesome!

If anyone should be interested in a weak approximation: I currently use the Run or Raise extension to keep "scratchpads" of fixed windows (e.g., one for file manager instances, one for terminals). Run or Raise works very well for that. E.g.,

<Super>e:move-window-to-active-workspace:minimize-when-unfocused,pcmanfm,Pcmanfm,(Downloads|dotfiles)

brings to the current workspace in a cycle all windows with Pcmanfm as wm_class that also has Downloads or dotfiles in the title (and if none so exist, execute the command pcmanfm). There are other modes, and it is quite a versatile tool.

Perhaps it can serve as inspiration for a Forge scratchpad? A scratchpad could be implemented by "just" having a keyboard shortcut that adds/removes some on_scratchpad key phrase from a window's title, and a run-or-raise shortcut set up to cycle though and minimize on_scratchpad windows.

(Currently, I think there is a slight bug with the minimization where it doesn't happen when cycling though multiple windows).
