For those who facing same troubles - sometimes it gets's resolved eventually - that is why your tests might get flaky, because they will pass sometimes.

I noticed that even the website listed on the profile of the author of Faker (https://github.com/marak/) is going through the same issue: http://marak.com

In my case, the main use I had for fakecloud.com was the avatars. It has always bugged me that I’d rely on a third-party for this. It’s difficult to maintain these sort of services.

It is definitely down. In the faker issues, multiple people are having problems with 522's from images hosted on fakercloud.
