I'm Estéban, a design engineer in Strasbourg. I take a product from the first sketch in Figma to the code that ships it: design and code in one pair of hands.
Today I'm a junior project developer at ENGLAB. Before that came three years of freelance work as Whimsy Studio, and before any of it, Java plugins for Minecraft servers.
Building estxbxn.dev, a portfolio told as a picture loading: the page arrives in sky squares that split and clear while the headline comes into focus. React 19 and TanStack on the front, an Effect 4 API on libSQL behind it, GSAP for the pixels. Visitors can leave a sticker on the guestsheet.
Clear before clever. If it needs a tooltip to be understood, it is not finished.
Prototype the risk. Build the part you are least sure about first.
Ship, then look. Opinions are cheap after launch. Numbers are not.
