The recently merged bigger inline emojis (matrix-org/matrix-react-sdk#5401) seem like a fine change for the timeline, but it now means the emojis are a different size in the composer vs. timeline:
The timeline emojis are 18 px while the composer emojis are the old size of 14 px (same as text). I have checked with Design already, and they agree that the composer emojis should be changed as well to match the new, larger size in the timeline.
