Make changing channels in room easier.
Swiping from left should show different channel of joined room. Currently this is not the case.

the sidebar swiping is already there if you into a chat you could switch to recent ones

There's no such thing as channels in Matrix/Element. Matrix does not work like Discord - Rooms are a bit like WhatsApp groups rather than Discord Guilds. However, communities are getting a re-design so eventually it will work a bit like Discord, and hopefully then, the app will work a bit like that too.

@Oymate those are rooms. OP is talking about switching channels within rooms, which is not a thing (at least for now).

@TR-SLimey @Oymate There is a channels thing in Matrix. You can have threads/channels by tagging the messages. It would be similar to Discord or Slack. It is in the spec: matrix-org/matrix-spec-proposals#2326 Synapse supports it, but currently there is no client that can tag messages or display threads.

@notramo I've always heard people refer to that as threads and never channels. Besides, I don't think that's what was being asked here, but maybe I'm wrong.

@Oymate Thread filtering isn't a thing yet. But I guess when it will be implemented, it will be done similarly to that.
