error when using

Hi, I've installed your bindings through ruby gems, but I get this error

Hi, I'll try to look into this later but my first guess is that it possibly doesn't work well on 1.9.1. This gem was developed against 1.8.7. Also try grabbing the latest source from github master to see if that works any better.

tried to install version 0.3.0 on Ruby 1.8.7 for Windows, I get the same error of the first post...

I recommend using the master branch, we will soon release a new version. As for the unauthorized error, is it possible that you have mistyped your username or password? You should set env variables SMARTCLOUD_USERNAME and SMARTCLOUD_PASSWORD. You can also try passing them on the command line, for example

bin/smartcloud display_instances -u user@email.com -p yourpassword

I verified that master branch on 1.8.7 works correctly with my username and password. 0.3.0 appears to have a bug in it, please do not use

Actually 0.3.0 is also working correctly for me (I am on OSX). There may be an issue with it on windows. Do you have enough experience to dive into the code a little and maybe put some debug statements around where the issue is happening? This could help us figure it out. However 401 Unauthorized sounds more like the password/username is wrong.

I have good news! Passing username and password with parameters works fine, both in 0.3.0 and master everything works, but env variables were set, since the command didn't complain, so I really don't understand why it didn't get them correctly. I double checked and they were the same. Anyway thanks to the master branch, the error message was a lot more informative ;-)
