This integration would allow Elastic Agent to dynamically ingest, enrich, and act upon infrastructure metadata sourced from NetBox, enabling more intelligent monitoring, alerting, and security analytics

Describe the use case:
Organizations using NetBox as a source of truth for network infrastructure often lack seamless integration with observability platforms. By integrating Elastic Agent with NetBox, users can dynamically configure monitoring policies, enrich logs and metrics with contextual metadata (e.g., device role, site, rack), and detect configuration drift or unauthorized changes. This enables asset-aware observability, automated agent deployment, and topology-informed dashboards in Kibana.

This would significantly reduce manual configuration, improve monitoring accuracy, and enhance incident response.
