Replace ms w/ way more performant @lukeed/ms #278
Description
@lukeed/ms is a fork of vercel's ms that is consistently faster (up from 40% to 2x faster), though with a slightly bigger installation size (9.4 KiB compared to 6.7 KiB due to @lukeed/ms shipping tripple CJS/ESM/UMD while vercel's ms only ships pure CJS, which is just not a huge deal anyway).
vercel's ms is mostly used by the popular debug library, while @lukeed/ms usage is growing rapidly and is being adopted by Hey API and the Fastify ecosystem.

Though the installation size is slightly bigger,
@lukeed/msshipping ESM variant is a nice-to-have over CJS-onlyms. Also after bundled@lukeed/mswill be extremely small with less than 1 KiB bundle size.gameroman commentedon Jul 25, 2026

Slower than
@lukeed/msin raw performance, but also smaller and feature-richer. Both are good candidate for replacing vercel'smshere.
