Hi, I'm Diego Guajardo 👋

Cloud & AI partner ecosystems @ Microsoft · Santiago, Chile

By day I help distributors, resellers, telcos and system integrators across Latin America build cloud and AI businesses. By night I hack on cars, circuits and smart homes. Before Microsoft I founded HSH, a home-security startup where I learned to code.

🔧 What I tinker with

  • 🚗 Driver assistance: running openpilot on my car, which isn't officially supported; contributed its firmware fingerprints upstream (merged) and a steering improvement (in review). See my opendbc fork
  • 🏠 Smart home: ESP32, Zigbee and Home Assistant; added Yale YRL256 TS lock support to zigbee-herdsman-converters (Zigbee2MQTT)
  • 📻 Vintage electronics: tube amplifiers and analog circuits
  • 🤖 AI agents: OpenClaw in my personal life; Microsoft Autopilot (aka Scout) and GitHub Copilot at work

  • 10+ years at Microsoft growing cloud through partners: distributors, CSP resellers, telcos, ERP/CRM partners and SIs
  • Azure, data (Microsoft Fabric, SQL), AI Foundry, GitHub Copilot, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365
  • Azure-certified since 2016 (exam 70-533) · consistently exceeding quota since 2016
