fix(chat): settle Pi receipts for CRLF sends and /name sends Pi ran - #2686
A Pi receipt ("Sent to Pi · waiting for transcript") that never confirms holds every later receipt in the pane, as matchPiDeliveries matches first in, first out. #2659 left two send shapes that do this (#2662):
CRLF. Pi's editor pastes CRLF and a lone CR as LF and drops other control characters (normalizeText and the filter in handlePaste, pi-tui in Pi 1.4.0). piRecordText kept the CR, so a send from a raw WS/API client never matched Pi's record. It now normalises as Pi does.
/name sends that are not builtins or skills. Whether Pi records one as typed (a message), only expanded (a prompt template) or not at all (an extension's command) depends on what that Pi loaded. The pane's catalog does not prove it (--no-prompt-templates, a template added after Pi loaded, a catalog not cached after a bridge restart, templates from settings or packages). So:
piRunsCommand now skips receipts only for builtins and !command; every other /name keeps one.
matchPiDeliveries settles such a receipt on the first fresh user record after it on the branch, because Pi records its sends in order. Its own text confirms it. Any other text means Pi ran it, and the receipt is settled. That record is attributed to it (an expansion) unless it is a later receipt's own text (an extension's command that recorded nothing), so the receipts behind it confirm.
DESIGN.md's Pi receipt paragraph drops the two gaps this closes.
Reproduced on main (52f1bc6) with the new pi-delivery.test.ts tests: a CRLF send and /template/extension-command receipts (consumed: [] instead of all five). Both pass with the fix. A third test checks that a /name receipt keeps waiting until Pi records something.
prompt.test.ts: piRunsCommand keeps a receipt for a catalogued template.
bun test server/pending-input.contract.test.ts -t "Pi|pi" (isolated test session): 27 pass.
bun run check fast: passed (workflow syntax, generated types/themes, typecheck, build, unit tests 10,894 pass / 42 skip).
Not run: bun run check full (browser lanes), test:ssh.

Bug Fixes
Improved sent-message tracking for Pi when messages use Windows-style line endings or begin with prompt-template or extension-command names. These messages are less likely to leave a “Sent to Pi · waiting for transcript” notice that blocks subsequent messages.
Unknown slash commands can remain pending until Pi records a matching message; chained skills still may not receive read-back confirmation.
Pi send classification now limits no-receipt handling to recognized builtins and shell commands. Delivery matching normalizes line endings and checks fresh transcript entries for uncertain slash commands.
Receipt text normalizes CRLF and lone CR to LF. Slash-command candidates are checked against fresh transcript entries, with tests for template expansions, omitted commands, and pending receipts.
devswha/ovis#2659: Changes the same command-classification function and takes a different approach to prompt-template receipts.
devswha/ovis#1795: Introduces the delivery matcher whose FIFO matching contract this change updates.
devswha/ovis#2041: Reworks the same delivery capture and matching logic.

The receipt fixes are mergeable with awareness of a narrow concurrent-input limitation: direct input into the Pi pane can prematurely confirm a slash-command receipt.

Explanation
Issue [#2662] has two coding objectives. piRecordText now converts CRLF and lone CR to LF, removes the same control characters as Pi, and trims the result. piRunsCommand retains receipts for non-builtin /name inputs, and matchPiDeliveries settles them against the first fresh user record in order. The added Pi delivery tests cover CRLF, template expansion, omitted extension commands, and a still-pending /name receipt. The prompt test covers a catalogued template. These changes address both receipt-blocking cases.

Review round on b8efe32: omo CLEAR; Codex (Terra 6.1, xhigh) raised 2 HIGH, 2 MEDIUM. Fixed in the next commit:
HIGH, reproduced (unit test): a command Pi records as nothing (/deploy), followed by /skill:commit and push. Its skill expansion was attributed to /deploy, because later receipts were recognised by literal text only. Later receipts are now matched as their own records are (text or skill expansion), via piRecordOf. Test: "leaves a skill's record to its own receipt behind a command Pi recorded as nothing".
HIGH, partly addressed: a template whose expansion equals a later message's exact text. Where both records have landed, the first record now goes to the template and the second to the message. Test: "gives a template's expansion to it…". Residual: while only the expansion has landed, the message's receipt is taken as confirmed by it. That needs an expansion byte-identical to the next message sent, and the record does follow.
MEDIUM, fixed: a /name Pi recorded as typed but stamped before the capture now settles as ambiguous again, as other sends do. Before, it kept waiting. Test added.
MEDIUM, not changed: an unrelated message typed into the terminal between the capture and Ovis's Enter can settle a /name receipt. This is the same limit already documented for every Pi receipt (Pi exposes no submission id). Its effect is a bubble removed early, never a blocked pane.

Review round 2 on 7f8be90 (Codex Terra 6.1, xhigh): 2 HIGH.
HIGH, reproduced and fixed:/deploy (recorded as nothing) followed by two identical /skill:commit and push sends. The lookahead saw a second copy of the record and gave the first to /deploy, which left the second skill receipt waiting. The record now goes to the /name send only when there are more copies of it than later receipts that could claim them. Test: "leaves every copy of a record to the later receipts that claim them all".
HIGH, not changed (the trade-off disclosed in round 1):/review expands to exactly hello, then hello is sent, and reconciliation runs after only the expansion has landed. That transcript is byte-identical to the one a recordless command followed by hello leaves, so no matcher can tell them apart at that moment. Waiting instead of settling would bring back Pi Chat: two send shapes still keep a receipt that never confirms #2662's permanent block for recordless commands. Settling early costs one bubble removed before its own record lands, and only when a template's expansion equals the next message exactly. Once both records are there, they are attributed correctly (round-1 test). Left for the maintainer to judge.
omo review on 1bbe052: BLOCK on one reproduced MEDIUM regression, fixed in the next commit:
MEDIUM (regression), fixed: a /-led message (/home/me/file explain this, an unknown name) was settled by an unrelated record that landed first, such as a message typed in the terminal. A /name receipt is now settled as run only when the first record after it belongs to a later Ovis send (Pi moved on), or when the pane's catalog listed the name as a template at send time (piListsTemplate; a hint carried on the receipt, never a reason to skip one). Any other record is skipped, as for every receipt. Test: "skips a record no Ovis send claims for a /name message…".
MEDIUM (/deploy then /review): with the template flag, /review's expansion is no longer taken by /deploy unless a later Ovis send claims it. A template that is not in the cached catalog now settles once the next Ovis send's record lands, instead of never.
LOW, unchanged: a template whose expansion equals the next message exactly (see round 2).
LOW, unchanged: ESC is dropped as Pi's paste filter drops it (every char below 0x20 except LF; pi-tui handlePaste), so the comparison matches what Pi records.
omo review on b5b0bdc: CLEAR. Its MEDIUM was fixed anyway, since it is part of #2662: a template the cached catalog does not list (bridge restart, templates from settings or packages) still kept its receipt waiting, because its expansion is claimed by no later send. A /name receipt is now also settled once a later Ovis send's record lands before its own literal record (Pi moved past it). Test: "settles a template the pane's catalog did not list once a later send's record follows its expansion". The two LOWs are unchanged: a listed template plus a racing terminal message, and an expansion identical to the next message.
omo review on a36c6fc: CLEAR. Remaining findings, none blocking (no further fix round from this lane):
MEDIUM: passed does not check that the later send's record was stamped after that send's capture. A terminal message with the same text as the next Chat send, recorded before an earlier /name Chat send, settles that receipt early. This needs Pi to record a later terminal input before an earlier Chat input; only the bubble goes early.
MEDIUM (as on main): a listed template expanding to exactly the next Chat message's text lets that one record confirm both.
MEDIUM (as on main, where there was no receipt): Pi run with --no-prompt-templates while the catalog still lists the name: a terminal record may settle the /review receipt.
LOW: control-character handling relies on Pi's paste filter (chars below 0x20 except LF dropped), which this mirrors.

A Pi receipt ("Sent to Pi · waiting for transcript") that never confirms holds every later receipt in the pane, as
matchPiDeliveriesmatches first in, first out. #2659 left two send shapes that do this (#2662):normalizeTextand the filter inhandlePaste, pi-tui in Pi 1.4.0).piRecordTextkept the CR, so a send from a raw WS/API client never matched Pi's record. It now normalises as Pi does./namesends that are not builtins or skills. So:piRunsCommandnow skips receipts only for builtins and!command; every other/namekeeps one.matchPiDeliveriessettles such a receipt on the first fresh user record after it on the branch, because Pi records its sends in order. Its own text confirms it. Any other text means Pi ran it, and the receipt is settled.
