Summary

Introduce a standalone iOS 17 Swift package, app/ios/OvisActivityUI, for a proposed Ovis activity inbox. UI-only: it is deliberately NOT wired into the shipping app or WidgetKit target.

  • Separate compact leading logo and trailing running-count views.
  • Completion inbox with exact server/session destinations.
  • Typed one-time approval/denial, optional scoped-settings navigation, and single/multiple-choice interview components with explicit submission.
  • Request state isolated by server + session + request ID and revision. Preserve selection when unrelated requests arrive; reject stale acknowledgements and duplicate submissions.
  • Explicit pending/failure/offline states, bounded request navigation, completion-view switching, previews, and 16 XCTest cases.

Boundaries

No networking, push registration, App Intents, entitlements, actual approvals, or production integration. Host callbacks are contracts, not implemented server adapters. Direct text input and always-allow scope confirmation are host navigation actions. This does NOT yet deliver a functioning Live Activity.

Verification

  • Source review and whitespace checks performed.
  • Swift compilation, XCTest execution and native visual validation NOT run: the available Linux host has neither Swift nor Xcode. Sixteen tests are authored, not claimed passing.
  • Mac/Xcode build, accessibility/device geometry validation and WidgetKit feasibility review remain outstanding.

Draft / design discussion

This feature has not received upstream maintainer design approval. CONTRIBUTING requests approval before feature development; this draft is submitted at the user's explicit request for discussion, not as merge-ready work. Please confirm whether this standalone package is an acceptable direction before further integration.

Based on v0.4.21 (6c78047); latest-main compatibility remains unverified. Independent of the GJC repair PR. No changes to existing production sources, user sessions, design reports or generated images are included.
