Reverts #1840 (5e673ef). The merge pass reverts first because main is red.

Why

Main CI on 5e673ef (run 40139134424) fails Browser regression (other scripts). scripts/chat-local-send-follow-demo-regression.ts fails both attempts at the step "remote pending refused and hydrated sends preserve place: remote", with TimeoutError: waitForFunction at :112: the transcript never grows.

That step exercises the demo transport's refused/pending path. #1840 changed that path (site/demo/transport.ts, server/core/pending.ts, server/core/composer.ts). #1840's own CI ran before #1831 and #1902 added this step to main, so the two had never run together.

Evidence

On this PC, with the same script and the same demo build:

• main at ff11d94: FAIL at that step;
• main at ff11d94 with fix(input): validate immediate submit paste framing #1840 reverted (this branch): PASS, every step.

bun run check fast on this branch passes (unit: 6581 pass, 0 fail).

server/core/pending.ts now forwards immediate text and payload without validating their relationship. Restore validation before dispatch and resend-receipt lookup. Normalize the text, reject terminal controls and embedded paste markers, and accept only the normalized body or one outer bracketed-paste pair. This prevents forged payloads from reaching paneSendText.

Do not restore the former site/demo/transport.ts check unchanged. The regression’s remote socket sends payload: text + "\r". The former demo guard rejected that shape before submitToChat, so the transcript did not grow. Merge pass: closing without merging. #1840 was right; the regression script was stale. It sent the other browser's submit as text + "\r", which #1840 correctly refuses. #1916 fixed that one line and is merged. Main gets green from #1916, so #1840 stays in.
