Safari shows a PC header but no workspaces when many agents share the sidebar #3217

Closed

Description

@odfalik

At 390 × 844, WebKit can shrink the expanded PCs list to 44 px: enough for the PC header, but not a workspace. The workspaces are still in the tree. The filter is empty.

Reproduce

  1. Use two connected PCs with multiple workspaces and about 47 agents in total.
  2. Open the sidebar at 390 × 844 in Safari/WebKit.
  3. Expand PCs and the first PC. This occurs with either order of the PCs and Agents sections.

Expected: workspace rows are visible below the PC header.

Actual: only the PC header is visible. The workspace rows are below the list's clipped edge.

Isolated demo reproduction

The real App demo, with 47 agent rows and 12 workspaces across two PCs:

Engine PCs section Scrollable PC list Workspace row visible
WebKit 96 px 44 px No
Chromium 240 px 188 px Yes

The PCs flex rule on main b5d9b065 uses 1000 1 0 with max-height: max-content. Changing the zero basis to 0% produces the same 240/188 px allocation in both engines without removing the content cap.

WebKit reproduction

WebKit at 390 by 844: the expanded PCs list shows a PC header but no workspace

Chromium control

Chromium at 390 by 844: the same roster has visible workspace rows

Tested with isolated desktop WebKit and Chromium using a mobile viewport. Physical iPhone checks were not run.
