…sub version table - supported-bindings/redis.md: add "Supported servers and versions" table (Redis 6.x/7.x, Valkey 8.x/9.x); remove outdated "does not support Redis >= 7" note - supported-locks/redis-lock.md: add "Supported servers and versions" table mirroring same style (no query-API caveat — lock does not use RediSearch) - setup-redis-pubsub.md: reconcile prose and table — drop the unclaimed "5.x" from the prose description so it matches the table (6.x, 7.x for Redis; 8.x, 9.x for Valkey). Both the table and the prose now reference only conformance-tested versions. No configuration-store Valkey documentation added (coverage was removed from the code PR as a no-op). Add documentation for SubscribeActorEventsAlpha1, the new bidirectional gRPC stream that lets actor-hosting apps receive all callbacks (invoke, reminder, timer, deactivate) over an app-initiated connection to daprd, without exposing an inbound server port. Closes dapr/dapr#927. Introduced in Dapr v1.18 via dapr/dapr#9812. Files added/changed: - actors-app-initiated-streams.md: concept page explaining the protocol, the motivation, how it differs from traditional callbacks, and NetworkPolicy / firewall guidance for operators. - howto-actors-app-initiated-streams.md: how-to guide with step-by-step instructions and raw gRPC code examples in Go. - actors_api.md: new SubscribeActorEventsAlpha1 gRPC section with full proto reference tables for all request/response message types. - alpha-beta-apis.md: add row for the new alpha API. - Convert the how-to protocol summary to a mermaid sequence diagram - Surface SDK support near the concept intro and in the comparison table - Move the why-summary sentence above the comparison table - Correct the SDK support section: the Go SDK helper (client.SubscribeActorEvents) has landed, so the no-SDK-support note was inaccurate; point to it and note other SDKs use the generated gRPC client. Drop the release-tracking sentence. Signed-off-by: Nelson Parente <nelson_parente@live.com.pt>
The alpha-beta-apis row linked to an unrelated version-skew CI commit. Repoint to the v1.18 backport merge commit (dapr/dapr#9964), where the SubscribeActorEventsAlpha1 RPC is defined in dapr.proto at the same line (L125), so the permalink is stable and points at v1.18 content. Add documentation for the new topicsPattern and autoDiscoveryPeriod metadata fields on the Pulsar pub/sub component, which enable subscribing to multiple topics within a tenant/namespace by regular expression with automatic discovery of newly created matching topics. Relates to dapr/components-contrib#2566 Signed-off-by: Justin Slatten <justin.slatten@gmail.com>
Document the default as "0" (defers to the Pulsar client's own interval, currently 1m) instead of "1m", matching what the component sets when the field is unset. Relates to dapr/components-contrib#2566 Signed-off-by: Justin Slatten <justin.slatten@gmail.com>
The RabbitMQ pubsub component accepts four exchange kinds (fanout, topic, direct, headers) per exchangeKindValid in components-contrib, but the reference table only listed fanout and topic. Render the Dapr performance results on the docs site from the charts and manifest published to the dapr/dapr perf-charts branch, for whichever Dapr version the docs set represents. - Add the dapr-perf-results shortcode: read the minor version from params.version, fetch <minor>/manifest.json from the perf-charts branch (via jsDelivr) at build time, and render the throughput-per-resource tables and charts. Fails soft to a "not yet published" notice when a version has no results. - Group the output so the page stays navigable: each API is a collapsible section (collapsed by default) with a scenario count, each scenario is collapsible with a chart count, and a "Jump to" nav links to each API and expands it on click. - Add the perf-results page that calls the shortcode. Nothing is hard-coded per version; publishing a new run to perf-charts is all that is needed for the page to update. Signed-off-by: joshvanl <me@joshvanl.dev>

Routine upmerge per the maintainer guide (v1.19 was 261 commits behind
v1.18, including the Docsy restyle/SCSS overhaul and the dapr-agents
docs reorg).
Manually resolved (not a blind merge):
- hugo.yaml: kept v1.19's own baseURL/version_menu/versions identity,
fixing a pre-existing v1.17 entry bug (mislabeled "(latest)", malformed
URL) using v1.18's corrected version.
- .github/workflows/website-root.yml: kept deleted -- v1.19-specific,
only the root/latest branch deploys via this workflow (v1.19 uses its
own website-v1-19.yml).
- component-secrets.md: merged two independent edits to the same
bullet (v1.19's "workflow backends" exclusion note + v1.18's more
precise actor-state-store hot-reload behavior as of Dapr 1.18.3).
- setup-pulsar.md / setup-redis-pubsub.md: kept both sides' additions
to adjacent table rows (new fields vs. updated descriptions).
- setup-redis.md: kept both new sections (v1.19's OIDC auth, v1.18's
supported servers/versions); fixed a resulting ambiguous {{% ref
redis.md %}} (newly collides with the incoming dapr-agents
integrations/vector-stores/redis.md) by qualifying the path.
Verified with a real `hugo` build (0.147.8, the project's own pinned
version) after resolving conflicts -- zero errors, all pages render,
including the one ambiguous-ref fix.

Routine upmerge of the current release branch into the pre-release branch, following the maintainer guide. Squashed into a single commit: the previous upmerge (dapr#5347) landed on v1.19 as a single-parent commit, so a merge commit here exposes every v1.18 commit since the June merge base (342 of them) and the DCO check cannot enumerate them. Conflict resolution: - Kept v1.19 for preview-only content (Scheduler-served actor placement, Search/Vector/Binary Store alpha APIs, Redis OIDC auth, Dapr-Actor-Activation-Id) and for the newer .NET Actors.Next rewrites reflecting dapr/dotnet-sdk#1938. - Took v1.18 for the Dapr Agents quickstarts table and the Anthropic provider dict-tool details, which are newer there. - Excluded version information: hugo.yaml keeps the v1.19 preview settings, dapr-latest-version.html keeps 1.19.0, the 1.16.x rows in support-release-policy.md stay Unsupported, and .github/workflows/website-root.yml stays deleted since it belongs only on the branch that is currently the live "latest".
