Facts port: the checks, the queue and the one snapshot held to facts/1, with the port read against the fake (#191) - #278
Conversation
…/1, with the port read against the fake (#191) adapters/checks.py reads the head's check runs, its place in the merge queue and its count of threads in one GraphQL read: each check with its exact name, its App and its workflow file, none dropped, a status context no check, the rollup of the head alone. adapters/facts.py puts every part together, reads the pull request again last and refuses the snapshot if it moved, and holds it to facts/1; threads are whole only when there are none, until adapters/threads.py, and acceptance is unread, until adapters/acceptance.py. pull.py gives the base's head and the last push's time. A contract test holds the port to the fake's assumption for each rule a fixture it reads grounds. 19 mutants, two more brought up to date, each killed by hand. …med after its reads and refused off facts/1 (#191) The review's one fix round on the checks and the snapshot: - the rollup is whole only when its count stays the same across pages and every context it counts was read - a rollup of another commit, and a head that moved while the checks were read, are refused apart, each tested - the snapshot takes its own time after the last read; a snapshot facts/1 refuses is refused, and tested - the push-time fallback and a head pushed away and back are stated as known limits - P-42's pending test states the rule; the contract reads a fork's runs by their repo, not their event - the contract test's wording no longer says it runs the fake Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Part of #191: its third and last PR by the ruling. It adds the checks, the queue and the one snapshot held to
facts/1, and a contract test that reads the port against what the fake assumes. What it adds
adapters/checks.pymakes one constant GraphQL read of the head's status rollup:adapters/facts.pygivessnapshot(...) -> (facts/1, title):same_head). A move refuses the whole.schemas/facts.schema.json, and a snapshot that fails is refused.adapters/pull.pyaddsbase(protected? and the base branch's head) andlast_push(who and when).Contract) checks each fake rule that a fixture grounds and the port reads. The port must read that same fixture as the rule states. The fake itself is not run.sim/AGENTS.md.Known limits, stated in the code
threadsare whole only when the pull request holds none. Their state and category wait onadapters/threads.py.acceptanceis null and never whole. It waits onadapters/acceptance.py. Until a rule says when an issue asks for a contract, every pull request defers on it. This is flagged to the Factory Builder.last_push_atfalls back to the read's time when the base's activity does not name the head. A fork's head is never named, so its wait from the push starts again each pass.compare base...shais grounded: P-29 shows the bytes are the same. The file list is not, because compare caps it at 300. That is left to a follow-up.@pending. P-42 asks a re-run's scope. A dynamic workflow's path needs a REST read.Gates
