Out of Scope Changes check ⚠️ Warning The .gitignore change for .dev-lead/ directory appears unrelated to the ci.yml workflow failure issue; it may be an incidental change. Linked Issues check ❓ Inconclusive Issue #212 reports a 12.5% CI failure rate exceeding the 10% threshold, but the changes (removing GITLEAKS_LICENSE and adding .dev-lead/ to .gitignore) lack clear connection to resolving the reported workflow failures. This pull request adds a duplicate '.dev-lead/' entry to the '.gitignore' file. The feedback correctly points out that this entry is already defined multiple times and recommends removing the redundant entries to clean up the file.

The entry '.dev-lead/' is already defined multiple times in this '.gitignore' file. Adding another duplicate entry is redundant. It is recommended to remove this duplicate and clean up the existing duplicates in the file.

Pull request overview

This PR aims to address issue #212 by reducing CI workflow fragility in the secret-scan job, likely by removing reliance on a repository secret that may be missing in some execution contexts.

Changes:

  • Removed GITLEAKS_LICENSE from the gitleaks step environment in .github/workflows/ci.yml.
  • Added an additional .dev-lead/ ignore entry in .gitignore (resulting in redundant duplicates).

Reviewed changes

Copilot reviewed 1 out of 2 changed files in this pull request and generated no comments.

File Description
.gitignore Adds another .dev-lead/ entry (currently introduces redundant repetition).
.github/workflows/ci.yml Removes GITLEAKS_LICENSE from the gitleaks step env to reduce dependency on that secret.

P1 Badge Keep Gitleaks license secret for org scans

Because this workflow runs in the petry-projects/ContentTwin organization and uses gitleaks/gitleaks-action v2.3.9, removing GITLEAKS_LICENSE makes the secret-scan job fail before scanning: the action's v2 docs and entrypoint require a license key for organization-owned repositories and exit with an error when it is absent. This means every push/PR CI run in this org will have a failing required security job rather than actually scanning for leaks.

Auto-rebase failed — merge conflict — this branch has conflicts with main that must be resolved.

dev-lead will attempt to resolve this automatically. If it cannot, a follow-up comment will explain what needs manual attention.

To resolve manually instead:

git fetch origin
git merge origin/main
# resolve conflicts, then:
git add .
git commit
git push

Closing due to merge conflict that cannot be auto-rebased. Re-implementing from fresh main via dev-lead.
