📝 Summary
Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to Two of the new tests check for a label that the report never prints on the table row, so CI will fail until they are corrected. Reports that contain only legacy drift also show an empty "re-sync these repos" table, which can mislead operators. Fix the tests before merging. Pre-merge checks |

Code Review
This pull request addresses issue #2289 by ensuring that legacy repositories without an agent-ingress.yml file are excluded from the alert and remediation workflow (fleet_stub_drift.json), while still being reported in the drift summary marked as legacy. The drift TSV format is updated to include an optional fifth field (legacy), and the reporting and alert-generation logic is adjusted accordingly, backed by comprehensive new tests. Feedback on the changes suggests a minor optimization to exit the awk command early in generate_stub_drift_report once a legacy row is found.
QA Lead — test-risk advisoryRisk tier: LOW. This changes which rows go into a monitoring alert file and doesn't touch any product path. If something regressed, the worst outcome would be a wrong drift alert, and the new tests cover the main risk directly: telling dev-lead or remediation to write an ingress file into a repo that has none (the ADR-0007 double-dispatch trap). What I'd shore up (highest leverage first):
Escalate? no Advisory only. I comment, I don't change code. Ground: BMAD Test Architecture (bmad-tea v1.19.0). Opt out on this item with the qa-lead:hands-off label. |

CodeAnt Nitpicks1 code suggestion1. Legacy rows show whole-file SHA pairs, while the section header still identifies the ingress block SHA as canonical, leaving unclear which canonical the row compares.Logic error · |

Separate legacy rows into a dedicated section so each group of rows compares against its own clearly-identified canonical (block SHA for ingress rows, whole-file SHA for legacy rows). The original report mixed both types in one table, leaving the canonical ambiguous for legacy rows. Co-Authored-By: Claude Haiku 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Fixed in scripts/fleet_stub_drift.sh: separated legacy rows into a dedicated section with its own header and table. Legacy rows now compare against their own whole-file canonical SHA, while ingress rows compare against the block canonical SHA. This eliminates ambiguity about which canonical each row type compares against. |

- Line 239: Update the remediation section in the drift-reporting flow around
the awk filter so its heading and table are printed only when at least one
drifted row is ingress-backed, rather than when only legacy rows drift. Keep the
legacy drift reporting separate and preserve the existing remediation table
contents for ingress-backed rows.
Review comments at @tests/fleet_stub_drift.bats:
- Line 327: Update the legacy-output assertions in the fleet stub tests to
verify that each repository row appears after the legacy section heading, rather
than searching the row for “legacy per-role stub.” Apply this to the assertion
using legacy_line and the corresponding assertion in fleet_stub_registry,
preserving the expected repository-row checks.

…gacy rows under section heading Test-Change-Justification: the old assertions looked for 'legacy per-role stub' inside the table row, which the report never prints (the label is in the section heading); CodeRabbit review on PR #2292 (thread PRRT_kwDOR9SdIs6rPSdj) established this, so they now check section membership.
