Currently, ReadAny already saves your reading position (chapter + page) for every book. When you reopen a book, it automatically jumps back to where you left off — so you won't lose your place.

The library also sorts by "last opened" by default, so your most recent book is always at the top for quick access.

Auto-restoring previously open tabs on app restart is something we've considered, but it introduces complexity (slow startup with multiple heavy books loading simultaneously, handling deleted/missing files, etc.) without a large UX gain since the reading position is already preserved.

For now, we think the current flow (tap your most recent book → instantly back where you were) strikes a good balance. If more users request this we'll revisit — possibly as a lightweight "Continue Reading" card on the home screen.
