cannot determine ::homebrew::config::installdir

Fresh boxen install, keep getting this:

I've tried overriding the homebrew install path in:

facts.d/common.yaml

With the following line:

homebrew_root: /opt/boxen/homebrew

But no such luck... Any advice would be smashing :)

I sure was. Changed this: hiera/common.yaml to this:

# Ruby config
ruby::global::version: "2.2.3"
ruby::build::ensure: "v20150818"
ruby::version::env:
   Darwin:
     CFLAGS:   "-I%{::homebrew::config::installdir}/include -march=core2 -O3"
     LDFLAGS:  "-L%{::homebrew::config::installdir}/lib"

@apeeters Are you able to reproduce this on the latest version?

@jacobbednarz I was able to reproduce the problem and fix it on the latest (8.5.6) version by adding these lines to hiera/common.yaml, as described by @outrunthewolf.

ruby::version::env:
   Darwin:
     CFLAGS:   "-I%{::homebrew::config::installdir}/include -march=core2 -O3"
     LDFLAGS:  "-L%{::homebrew::config::installdir}/lib"

I don't know if its helpful to keep this issue open for people? But its technically resolved with the fix.

it's quite odd this is happening - perhaps something local to your setup? i've never encountered this.
