   Is there a reason for not putting it into the lib?

   The lack of sponsor support 😅 — with no significant sponsor money flowing in; and with my projects, that use this library, not generating much revenue; my development efforts are spent elsewhere, and for this library I am currently limited to basic maintenance & any minor fixes that feel very necessary to my projects.
