let's add a new command to the CLI that generates AGENTS.md / CLAUDE.md / cursor rules for the project with all the info needed for AI to write code that works with the base44 SDK and explains how base44 backend-as-a-service works.

You can read more about the base44 SDK at: https://docs.base44.com/developers/introduction , research the available features them and summarize them consicely for the AI agents instructions.

Also check online if there is prior art for such a command and suggest how the command should work (does it ask the user which AI they work with? does it generate all options? maybe it's a claude skill? maybe an MCP server that it spins up? come up with creative ideas, but make sure they are pragmatic).

• Created /src/cli/commands/ai/docs.ts with template generators

Design Rationale

I chose an interactive approach because:

• Different teams use different AI tools
• Avoids cluttering repos with unnecessary files
• Allows easy regeneration when switching tools
• Can select multiple tools at once
• More user-friendly than CLI flags

Notes

• I was unable to access web resources to research the Base44 SDK documentation directly, so I used my knowledge of backend-as-a-service patterns and the existing AGENTS.md as a guide
• The documentation templates are comprehensive but should be reviewed and updated with specific Base44 SDK details from https://docs.base44.com/developers/introduction
• I couldn't run build/test commands due to permission restrictions, but the code follows TypeScript best practices and existing patterns

3. Interactive Selection - Multi-select prompt lets users choose which files to generate
4. Overwrite Protection - Prompts for confirmation before overwriting existing files

• readAgentsMd() - Reads AGENTS.md from the repository root
• generateClaudeMd(agentsMdContent) - Extracts sections using regex and adds Claude-specific guidelines
• generateCursorRules(agentsMdContent) - Parses rules and patterns to create concise Cursor IDE documentation
• generateAiDocs() - Main command logic with prompts and file writing

• Created /src/cli/commands/ai/docs.ts with dynamic content generators

I was unable to run npm install or npm run typecheck due to permission restrictions. The code follows TypeScript best practices and existing project patterns, but should be tested with:
