Issue # (if applicable)
Closes #32667.
Reason for this change
The
AutoScalingGroup.cooldownAPI documentation does not explain that cooldown governs simple scaling policies. This can lead users to expect it to delay target tracking or step scaling activities.Description of changes
Clarify the JSDoc for
cooldown: target tracking and step scaling use instance warmup instead, and the group cooldown is a fallback only when neither a policy-specific nor default instance warmup is configured. No runtime behavior changes.Describe any new or updated permissions being added
None.
Description of how you validated changes
Ran ESLint on the changed file and
git diff --check. No integration test or snapshot is needed for a JSDoc-only change.Checklist
