Github opencode-agent cannot make PR out of custom named branch

Description

I installed https://github.com/apps/opencode-agent by doing opencode github install.

In my issue i then said:

/opencode create branch 1758-no-rename-extension and execute the plan coderabbit shared. the work should be minimal changes. then use gh to submit the PR following the https://github.com/my-team/.github/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md guide

and then it made the branch with the proper changes. however it fails to submit the PR. if i dont tell it to custom name the branch, it successfully opens the PR. Can we please fix it so people can follow their branching naming system?
