fix(web): restore the # menu's Linear, Slack, checkout and other tabs - #455

… lost in the upstream sync The upstream merge in #415 rewrote ChatComposer and dropped the fork's `#` reference menu wiring, leaving `#` as a pull-request-only search. The tab hooks and logic survived but nothing used them. Move the menu state into useComposerReferenceMenu and wire it back into the composer, along with cmd/ctrl+click multi-select and Cmd-Enter checkout linking. An audit of the fork commits that touched ChatComposer, CommandPalette and MessagesTimeline before #415 found what #437, #441, #452, #455 and #458 did not bring back: - Stashing a prompt keeps the records behind its issue, pull request, repository, chat tab and checkout chips, so a restored stash still sends their context. - "Create thread/worktree" stays hidden while several models are selected. - Right-clicking the collapsed composer's send button opens the send menu. - Image, file, skill, mention, thread and model chips in sent messages show their registry previews again, and review comments use the fork's preview. - A work row's hidden timestamp reserves its width, so hover no longer rewraps the label or moves the chevron (#197). - Retry sits inline with View diagnostics, Open chat is an inline button, and the edit and fork icon buttons are icon-sized again (#343). Typing
#in the composer only searched pull requests. The upstream merge in #415 rewroteChatComposer.tsxand dropped the fork's#reference menu wiring. Its hooks and logic (useComposerPullRequestItems, useComposerRepositoryItems, composerReferenceRecents, the Linear/Slack/Discord/Notion/Granola/GitHub issue/checkout item hooks) survived the merge, but nothing called them anymore. This puts back the tabbed
#menu thatdocs/user/composer.mddescribes: Checkouts, Pull requests, GitHub issues, Linear issues, Slack, Discord, Notion, Granola and Repositories. That includes tab prediction from the query (#ENG-123opens Linear issues), recents listed first, cmd/ctrl+click multi-select across tabs, and Cmd-Enter to link a checkout to the thread. The menu state now lives in a new
useComposerReferenceMenuhook, so the composer only holds the selection and attach wiring. That should make it harder for the next upstream composer rewrite to drop it silently. When#is open, upstream's own pull-request lookup inuseComposerMenuItemsis skipped, because the fork's pull-request tab already covers it (linked and attached repositories included).Verified with a web typecheck and
composerReferenceMenu.logic.test.ts. I haven't tested it in a running app.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
