- Changed .gitignore to track 'data/reports.json' instead of 'reports.json'.
- Updated README to reflect the new location of report data and added instructions for using 'data/reports.example.json' as a template.
- Implemented a function in GUI to ensure the existence of 'data/reports.json', creating it from the example file if necessary.
