Building PlugManX is simple:
-
Use JDK 21 for Maven
plugman-paperinitialization requires Java 17 or above, and the project compiler is configured for Java 21. In practice, run all Maven commands with JDK 21.PowerShell:
$env:JAVA_HOME = "C:\Path\To\jdk-21" $env:Path = "$env:JAVA_HOME\bin;$env:Path" java -version mvn -version
-
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/Test-Account666/PlugManX.git cd PlugManX -
Initialize the root project
mvn install -N
-
Initialize Paper NMS artifacts
plugman-paperdepends on generatedpaper-nmsartifacts. This step is required before the full reactor build.Bash:
cd plugman-paper mvn paper-nms:init cd ..
PowerShell:
Set-Location plugman-paper mvn paper-nms:init Set-Location ..
-
Build the project:
mvn clean install
-
Find the built artifacts:
- Individual module JARs will be in each module's
target/directory - The assembled distribution will be in
plugman-assembly/target/
- Individual module JARs will be in each module's
- If
mvn paper-nms:initfails with "outdated Java version", Maven is not using Java 17+ yet. SwitchJAVA_HOMEto JDK 21 and verify withmvn -version. - If
plugman-paperfails to resolveca.bkaw:paper-nms, make suremvn paper-nms:initcompleted successfully insideplugman-paperbefore runningmvn clean install. - If Maven says the dependency "was not found during a previous attempt", force a refresh with
mvn -U clean install. - If the cached failure still blocks the build, delete the local snapshot cache and initialize again:
Remove-Item -Recurse -Force "$env:USERPROFILE\.m2\repository\ca\bkaw\paper-nms\1.21.8-SNAPSHOT"
Set-Location plugman-paper
mvn paper-nms:init
Set-Location ..
mvn -U clean installPlugManX uses a centralized version property for easy version management across all modules. To update the version:
- Edit the
<plugman.version>property in the rootpom.xmlfile - The version will automatically be updated in all modules and resource files during build
Current version is managed by the plugman.version property in the parent POM.
