Friend Chief avatar green in @ picker but same blue whale in sidebar #1088

Reproduce

SelfB1025 sidebar vs @-mention picker after friending Chief (SelfA1025), Ark retest 2026-10-25:

1. Sidebar: local Chief and friend Chief (SelfA1025) both blue whale.
2. Open @ picker in a face room: friend Chief shows a green icon; local stays blue.

Expected

Friend vs local distinction is consistent across sidebar, @ picker, and mention chips (see #1069 / #965).

Actual

Sidebar still same blue whale for both; @-picker/mention chip uses green for the friend. Inconsistent surfaces.

May land with #1069 (#1078) — if that PR only fixes sidebar look-avoidance, keep a follow-up for picker/chip parity.
