Second batch of the 2026-09 upstream backport: the UX features that needed hand-adaptation to the fork's structure. Stacked on #235.

What landed

Scoped down during execution (fork differences)

Verification

  • tsgo clean for apps/web, packages/contracts, packages/shared.
  • Tests pass: middle-truncate, fileContextMenu, threadUndo (new), MessagesTimeline.logic, ChangedFilesTree, keybindings, useThreadActions, parseChangelog.
  • Lint clean; vp run check:avicode passes.
  • No visual/integrated client pass (per request, trusting tests + CI).

Hand-ported from upstream t3code pingdotgg#12805. Adds a MiddleTruncate component that
keeps the meaningful ends of branch names and paths (dates, file names) instead
of tail-cutting them, and wires it into the branch toolbar, branch selector, and
changed-files tree. ThreadCommandSubtitle and WorktreeSetupCard call sites are
omitted (absent in this fork).

Hand-ported from upstream t3code pingdotgg#8641. Adds a hover-revealed timestamp with a
full-date tooltip to turn-fold rows, matching the message-row treatment. The
upstream tool-row and work-entry timestamps are not ported: this fork's timeline
uses a different work-row model (a show-more toggle without a per-row timestamp)
and has no PlainWorkEntryRow, so only the turn-fold case maps cleanly.

Hand-ported from upstream t3code pingdotgg#11842. Adds a fileContextMenu module (reveal in
file manager, open with editor) wired into the file browser and the changed-files
diff tree. Adapted to the fork: reveal rides the file-manager editor id rather
than upstream's shellRevealInFileManager server flag (absent here), and path
resolution matches openDiffFilePrimaryAction. The DiffPanel call site is left for
a follow-up.

Hand-ported from upstream t3code pingdotgg#12848 onto the fork's thread-action layer.
Archiving or snoozing a thread now shows an Undo toast, and mod+z undoes the most
recent one (yielding to native undo inside text fields). Reconciles with the
existing Ctrl+Shift+T reopen-last-archived chord, which stays and walks archive
history. Settle is left silent, matching the fork's high-frequency design, so
only archive and snooze get undo toasts.

Ports threadUndo (claim supersession), showUndoToast (rebuilt on the fork's
stackedThreadToast), and editableFocus, plus a thread.undo / mod+z keybinding.
