Possible Memory leak in version 0.6.10 #1069

Description

@efkuester

Bug description:
When a large LaTeX project is open (193 pages), after repeatedly hitting "Typeset" command, memory used by TeXworks steadily increases after each Typeset by about 10 MB each time. When memory used reaches > 1500 MB, TeXworks crashes.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
[Memory usage monitored with Windows Task Manager]

  1. Launch TeXworks (no document opened): Memory used = 14.4 MB
  2. Open large LaTeX document (contains graphics, tables, equations) with associated preview window: Memory used = 74.4 MB
  3. Scroll preview window until all 193 pages of PDF file have been displayed at least once: Memory used = about 400 MB
  4. Further moves to display other preview pages increase memory used by about 1 MB each time.
  5. Click "Typeset" button to process LaTeX file with PDFLaTeX: memory used increases by about 10 MB each time.
  6. When memory used is at some point above 1500 MB, clicking Typeset button will finally crash TeXworks, and all TeXworks windows close.

Expected behavior:
With earlier versions of TeXworks, I never encountered this behavior, and I could keep large projects open and work on them indefinitely.
