What is the correct way to setup a development repo in localhost?

What is the correct way to setup development repo?

Here is what I did:

1. Created a Next JS project and made it run using react-use-auth library.
2. Cloned this git repo.
3. Yarn Link the repo & react-use-auth
4. Yarn dev

This gives me following error (screenshot is attached).

Please help with the correct way to contribute to the project.
