Spotify opens even when pressing play/pause/next/previous

Issue

Like the title says, The spotify window opens even when pressing play, pause, next or previous

How to reproduce

• Install spotify-controls with the browser extension store.
• Press the play button
• The spotify window should appear

Details

• Gnome version: 49
• OS: Arch Linux x86_64
• Kernel version: Linux 6.16.8-arch3-1
• Spotify is moded with spicetify (no idea if this is important)

Interesting, on pre 49 versions this doesn't seem to be the case, did you have the problem pre 49 ? or did this happen as soon as you upgraded to 49 ?

I started using this extension post 49 so i have no idea if it works before. I have a fix ready that I can create a PR for.
