@michaellwest, @Antonytm I am not convinced we should even have such command. An impersonation is one thing but full login as another user for me feels like something between insecure and somewhat reckless.

Not to mention that with IdentityServer/Owin/OpenID this may not even be possible.
What do you think we hollow those commands rather than trying to fix it.

I am not sure if it is supposed to work.

What I was working on: I used SPE commands as tools for my MCP server: https://github.com/Antonytm/mcp-sitecore-server
I, together with others, went through all commands. And if something didn't work, I reported the issues. (A few of them you already closed, and only one of them reported by @stanislavSV was really useful.)

At the first stage, the idea was to add all commands and see how they work with LLMs.

That is why there is no real scenario for why I need it. And I am OK with removing it.

Since the introduction of external Identity providers, this functionality is deprecated and will be removed in the subsequent version of SPE. It is broken since #557 anyway. I am hollowing those Cmdlets and marking them as obsolete.

Clearly if it was not reported for 10 years apart from the research project that attempts to use every SPE feature as a principle- it does not appear to be crucial.
