Notably, this addresses the
bundle installbug from #36.When the bug is triggered, an invalid pointer is returned by an instance variable lookup, either to another object (leading perhaps to a runtime exception) or to freed/invalid memory (and segfault).
I tried to create a repro and have so far failed.
