Thanks for the contribution! For vLLM & SGLang, please ensure that your recipes is similar to the official vLLM recipes and/or the SGLang cookbook

If it is not, please create a PR first before we can merge your single node PR into the master branch. Let's ensure that the documentation is first class such that the entire ML community can benefit from your hard work! Thank you

PR authors are responsible for ensuring that after merging, all GitHub Action jobs fully pass. A lot of the time, failures are just flakes and simply re-running the failed jobs will fix it. If re-running failed jobs is attempted, PR authors are responsible for ensuring it passes. See GitHub's docs on re-running failed jobs: https://docs.github.com/en/actions/how-tos/manage-workflow-runs/re-run-workflows-and-jobs#re-running-failed-jobs-in-a-workflow

As a rule of thumb, generally, PR authors should request a review & get a PR approval from the respective companies' CODEOWNERS before requesting a review from core maintainers.

If additional help is needed, PR authors can reach out to core maintainers over Slack.

🔴 The new perf-changelog entry sets pr-link: https://github.com/SemiAnalysisAI/InferenceX/pull/XXX — a placeholder that was never replaced with the actual PR number. Since this is PR #1913, it should read /pull/1913. As-is, the merged changelog will permanently link to a non-existent PR, breaking traceability from this entry back to the originating PR and breaking any tooling that parses pr-link.

Extended reasoning...

What the bug is

The diff adds a new entry to perf-changelog.yaml for the dsv4-fp4-b300-sglang image bump, but its pr-link field still contains the literal placeholder XXX:

pr-link: https://github.com/SemiAnalysisAI/InferenceX/pull/XXX

This was clearly intended to be replaced with the real PR number before the PR was opened/merged.

Why this matters

Every other entry in perf-changelog.yaml uses a real PR number (e.g. #1891, #1894, #1792, #1676), and the convention is clearly to point pr-link at the PR that introduced the change. The placeholder breaks that contract in two concrete ways:

  1. The rendered URL https://github.com/SemiAnalysisAI/InferenceX/pull/XXX is a permanent dead link — GitHub will 404 on it.
  2. Any tooling that parses pr-link (changelog generators, sweep dashboards, traceability scripts) will either crash on the non-numeric segment or silently fail to look up the originating PR.

Because the changelog is append-only and the placeholder will be carried in git history, fixing it post-merge requires a follow-up commit; catching it pre-merge is essentially free.

Step-by-step proof

  1. Open perf-changelog.yaml and look at line 4161 in the diff — the new block ends with pr-link: https://github.com/SemiAnalysisAI/InferenceX/pull/XXX.
  2. The PR metadata at the top of this review shows this is PR Update B300 FP4 SGLang (non-MTP) image to latest nightly #1913 (<pr number="1913">).
  3. Scroll up in perf-changelog.yaml: the immediately preceding entry uses https://github.com/SemiAnalysisAI/InferenceX/pull/1891, matching its own PR number. Other recent entries follow the same pattern (1894, 1792, 1676).
  4. Therefore the new entry should use /pull/1913, not /pull/XXX.

Fix

Replace XXX with 1913:

pr-link: https://github.com/SemiAnalysisAI/InferenceX/pull/1913
