• Pin each selection to an immutable SHA-256 digest.
• Resume and verify OCI config and filesystem-layer downloads.
• Apply ordered layers and OCI whiteouts transactionally, then run Android and PRoot compatibility setup and the first-boot health probe before activation.
• Preserve OCI installer state across Activity or process recreation.
• Isolate destructive device probes under the separate org.randomcoder.udroid.ociprobe package.
• Accept valid binary PAX extended attributes used by the official AlmaLinux image.

Validated checkpoint

The official arm64 AlmaLinux latest image completed download verification, layer extraction, compatibility configuration, health checking, and activation on the connected test device.

Current limits

OCI discovery currently covers anonymous official Docker Hub operating-system images. Private registries, credentials, signatures, attestations, SBOM policy, and arbitrary image references are not implemented. This APK uses the project update-signing key and is not a production release.
