API clients cannot edit a review summary or react to one. Add author-only summary editing and paginated reactions, preserving review verdicts and isolating review reactions from issue/comment reactions. Advertise the optional APIs through /settings/api.

Verified: formatter, Swagger generation, migration preservation/uniqueness test, pull-review/settings integration tests, and Go lint.

Assisted-by: Codex: GPT-5.6 Terra

P1 — reconcile the database migration before merging into rtvision.

Reviewed 53661b237140b6087caa8e9c6a7832553a955bbc. This PR registers migration 353 for review reactions, but #5 has now landed on rtvision using 353 for stack tables. Both add modelmigration/v28/v353.go, its test, and a different newMigration(353, ...) entry. The trial merge confirmed the conflict.

Allocate distinct migration versions across the API stack (including the revert migration in #12), preserve the already-landed stack migration, and test upgrading the combined schema. Fable 5.1 agreed this PR is sound in isolation but confirmed the integration blocker. Focused API tests passed; they do not validate the combined migration path.

Merge decision: NO-GO. Codex code review: NO-GO at 53661b237140b6087caa8e9c6a7832553a955bbc.

Migration 353 conflicts with the native-stack migration already on rtvision; preserve the landed migration and allocate unique subsequent versions, including the revert migration. GitHub reports this PR as conflicting. Also, the Swagger document references #/definitions/EditPullReviewOption without defining it, and OpenAPI 3 omits the new review endpoints. Regenerate and commit both specifications here; the repairs currently arrive only in #2. The focused reaction migration and pull-review integration tests passed.

Fable 5.1 (claude-fable-5-1) was invoked through Claude CLI, but hit its session limit before returning fresh verdicts. No fresh Fable approval is claimed. CodeRabbit was asked to review this head; no explicit APPROVED review is present, and its active API-branch configuration reports reviews.request_changes_workflow: false. Enable that workflow and obtain approval after blockers are resolved. No merge performed.

P1 — Reconcile migration 353 before merge

Pull request #1 is currently CONFLICTING with rtvision.

PR #5 has already merged migration 353 for stack tables. This PR still registers migration 353 for AddReviewIDToReaction. The same database migration version cannot represent both schema changes.

If an installation has already applied PR #5, its database version includes 353. It will then skip this PR's reaction migration. The reaction.review_id column and its updated composite unique index will not exist. Review-reaction API requests will then fail at runtime.

Allocate new, unique migration IDs across this API stack. Preserve the merged stack migration at 353. Update PR #12 as required to maintain one ordered sequence. Add an upgrade test that starts from the schema after PR #5 and verifies that the combined migrations add the review-reaction schema correctly.

The API review did not identify a separate authorization or cross-pull isolation defect. prepareSingleReview binds the review to the requested pull request. The focused tests cover edit authorization, dismissed reviews, reaction deletion, cleanup, and one cross-pull read case.

I cannot approve while the migration conflict remains. After the migration sequence and combined upgrade test are updated, enable reviews.request_changes_workflow and request review again for an explicit approval.

You are interacting with an AI system.

Preserve migration 353, migrate review reactions at 354, and regenerate both API specifications. Enable CodeRabbit reviews for API branches.

The blockers are repaired at 2ed162ecd8: native stacks retain migration 353, review reactions use 354, the migration test applies both changes together, and both generated API specifications now include the review-edit schema. Go lint, the migration test, and pull-review API tests pass. The branch now enables reviews.request_changes_workflow and reviews API target branches.

@kalvenschraut

I reviewed 2ed162ecd8.

Migration 353 remains assigned to native pull request stacks. Migration 354 adds reaction.review_id. The combined migration test preserves existing reaction data and verifies the new uniqueness behavior.

Both generated API specifications define EditPullReviewOption. Both specifications document the review edit endpoint and the review-reaction endpoints.

The handlers use prepareSingleReview. The review must belong to the pull request in the route. Review reactions use both IssueID and ReviewID. This preserves isolation from issue and comment reactions.

The focused tests cover the reported authorization, dismissed-review, cleanup, and cross-pull lookup cases.

I found no remaining actionable findings. I could not independently execute the reported test commands in this inspection environment.

GO at 2ed162ecd89a612de799a10f700d11314d2df77c: Codex and Fable 5.1 independently approve. Go lint, combined migration coverage, and pull-review integration tests pass; both generated schemas were verified. CodeRabbit submitted an explicit APPROVED review on this head and GitHub reports it mergeable. Merging under the requested gates.
