Self-host M3: compile_smoke_m3_emit execute — parseAndCompile returned null (mid emit TU) #2561

Milestone

M3 — mid emit translation unit between runtime and HelloWorld (parent #1492 / #1937)

Problem

compile_smoke_m3_emit_native_entry.php exercises Compiler → JIT → AOT on the compile-smoke fixture. Native emit helper links, but execute fails with:

compile_smoke_m3_emit: parseAndCompile returned null (parser/CFG spine)

Blocks BOOTSTRAP_M3_COMPILE_SMOKE_STRICT=1 and honest emit_path=native on bootstrap-selfhost-compile-smoke-probe.sh.

• Smallest TU Self-host M3: runtime_m3_emit execute — parseAndCompile returned null (smallest emit TU) #2559 and HelloWorld execute Self-host M3: PHPTypes/CFG static init in emit-TU LLVM global ctor (link segfault) #2540 also green (ladder order)
